Women's Services (including Gynaecology and Maternity Services)

Since the merger of the Queen Elizabeth in Woolwich, Queen Mary’s in Sidcup and Princess Royal in Bromley two and a half years ago, the services provided to women in the area have undergone a number of changes and improvements.

With Queen Mary’s becoming a centre of excellence for elective gynaecological procedures, the opening of the incredibly popular and successful Oasis Birthing Centre at Princess Royal last year and tremendous improvements in Women’s Services at Queen Elizabeth, all three hospital sites have been working hard to achieve the highest standards of patient care.

Now the Trust is making the first of its proactive efforts to engage, educate and inform women, their families and local GPs of the services it provides with clear and comforting patient information, both in new literature and online.
