Trust Special Administrator: Information for Patients

The Secretary of State for Health has appointed a Trust Special Administrator to temporarily run and oversee the Trust for the next few months as well as develop solutions to secure clinically and financially sustainable services in the long-term for patients across south east London.

This decision was taken to address the Trust's long-standing financial issues and ensure that the future provision of quality healthcare services for local people is maintained.

The Trust Special Administrator has now published his draft report and there is now a public consultation running until the 13th December into these recommendations. Information on how to take part in this consultation is available at www.tsa.nhs.uk. You can also ask for copies of the consultation document on the reception desks.

We would like to reassure local patients, carers and members of the public that our staff will continue to provide first rate services as normal:

  • Quality and the continuity of good care will always be our first priority
  • Our staff will continue to provide first rate services as normal
  • There will be no impact on care and all scheduled appointments will continue as usual

If you have any specific questions or concerns please email them to: slh.communications@nhs.net or write to us via the Communications Dept, South London Healthcare NHS Trust, Queen Mary's site, Frognal Avenue, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 6LT
