Christmas Comes Early to Children's A&E
16-Nov-2012
Christmas came early today for the Children's A&E department at the Princess Royal University Hospital. To celebrate their 21st birthday, the Glades Shopping centre, as part of their 21 good deeds for the community, donated new toys and a new leaflet rack to the department.
The toys will be used in the waiting room in the children's A&E department. Paediatric nurse Sharon Holland says: "We are so grateful for this donation from the Glades. The A&E department is a busy department and we need toys for children whilst they are waiting and also something for the siblings of poorly children to play with. It's great that the Glades have thought of us. We are also really grateful for the new leaflet rack which we will use to display information about children's services in the borough. A big thank you to the Glades."
To celebrate the Glades 21st Birthday staff and retailers have been performing good deeds within the Bromley community. For more information about their good deeds see: http://www.theglades.uk.com/Community/21-Good-Deeds
